After trying to figure out how to post the link for google docs, I realize that it won't loose too much of the formatting if I just copy and paste it into the text. Some of the formatting might be a little off, but you can get the idea. I have posted 3 surveys, each one is an updated model based on my own thinking about it and also based on showing the survey to others for their feedback. I showed it to one person who has an MPH and designs a lot of surveys and one person who really does not know much about surveys. I also showed it to the staff in the iJob program and they thought the third version would work well. The iJob program just started last Friday with new participants, so this week I plan to test the survey out on the new participants and then make any final changes. This survey is to find out knowledge levels of participants before they take the pre-employment training and I will be creating another survey for my final project that will be used at the end of the pre-employment training to see what has changed, improved or stayed the same. I think this will be a good measure of how effective the program is at training youth on employment skills.
Also, from our class last week I got a few new ideas on how to make the resume part of this survey better and I am going to work on that part before giving it to the participants on Monday.
Please let me know if you have any feedback!
Sarah

ReplyDeleteThe changes that you have made in the individual questions create a stronger focus and will help you generate better data. The first section feels like it blends together and I was wondering if there is a way to break it up in to sections instead of having a long list that starts with 'I"
